INTERNATIONAL CLINIC OF PACKAGING
The International Clinic of Packaging (ICP) was founded in October 2022 by Professor Nasser Sedaghat and Engineer Jafar Momken. They have been engaged for over four decades in consulting, education, applied research, and executing industrial projects related to food packaging and smart manufacturing. Their efforts during this time have led to the establishment of centers such as the Iranian Clinic of Food Packaging (ICFP) and the Research Center of Food Packaging (RCFP). At the ICP, we aim to enhance the field of packaging with the slogan below.
BETTER PACKAGING… BETTER SALES… BETTER LIFE
At present, the ICP is concentrating on the implementation of innovative packaging techniques, particularly Intelligent Modified Atmosphere Packaging (IMAP). The services offered include:
- Introducing and supplying raw materials, machinery, and quality control equipment for packaging.
- Designing, installing, and commissioning food processing and packaging facilities.
- Providing industrial consulting services to enhance quality and extend product shelf life.
- Offering strategic collaboration and guidance for research and development units in food processing and packaging.
- Organizing seminars, workshops, and specialized training sessions focused on food packaging, particularly IMAP.
- Collaborating with international research centers and packaging experts to conduct applied research projects in the packaging sector.
- Working to reduce waste caused by inadequate packaging in food production units while promoting a culture of sustainable packaging that prioritizes environmental protection and consumer safety.
- Enhancing the packaging industry in various countries through the development and implementation of strategic packaging plans and the establishment of small semi-automatic packaging workshops aimed at increasing productivity and minimizing agricultural product waste using advanced packaging techniques.
